“People, not properties” is the mantra Brendan Wright uses to describe his client-centric business style. “I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach because every client and transaction are unique, just as no two properties are exactly the same.”
A real estate agent and Certified Negotiation Expert with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, Wright works with a wide variety of clientele including first-timers, luxury shoppers, developers, and investors. “I put in a lot of time upfront to clearly understand the specific needs of each client, and relate to them what works and what doesn’t,” he says.
Wright’s business is primarily referral based. “Clients pass my name along to friends and family,” he says. “It’s not uncommon to be the family’s real estate agent or to work with several members within the same group of friends or business.”
A member of the National Association of Real Estate Agent and Atlanta Real Estate Agent Association, Wright was named on Shoppe Black’s list of Top 25 African Real Estate Professionals in the nation, has been a Top Producer with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty since 2013, and is a lifetime member of the Atlanta Real Estate Agent Association Top Producers.
One of Wright’s biggest sales accomplishments this year was securing a property for a client in a multiple-offer situation with a verbal offer. “It was my first transaction with the agent, but she selected our offer based on my reputation for well-qualified clients and quick closings,” he says. “This house was an absolutely perfect fit for this repeat client, and I was overjoyed when that I could make this happen in such a competitive environment.”
Skillful negotiation to bring deals together is a point of pride for Wright. This year he was able to sell one of his listings to his buyer. The house hadn’t received much interest because the owner didn’t have time to prepare the property due to a work relocation. “The house was just outside of the buyer’s price range, but I was able to work with the seller to structure a win-win deal for both clients. I was overjoyed to put two and two together.”
Fond of travel, Wright enjoys road trips with his dog, Mighty, and spending time near any body of water.
